MRAM Memory

MRAMs (Magnetic Random Access Memories) are magnetic based RAMs that have the property of being non-volatile, and are in development since the 1980s.

Their performance in the same order of magnitude as usual DRAMs and their ability to retain the information when powered off would make them practical universal memories, replacing both currently volatile RAMs and current storage technologies (Hard Drives, SSDs) that are much slower than RAM. Unfortunately, despite decades having passed, we are still yet to see them in our computers...
