Intel 82786

The 82786 was a Discrete GPU released by Intel in 1986. It worked with all the Intel Processors from the era and was designed to require less circuity, reduce costs and increase programming efficiency.

It had 4 MiB of dedicated Video Memory and supported 256-color outputs. The performance was low compared to competitors at the time and Intel withdrew the 82786 with the 486's release in 1989.
